Marginal Way is Seattle DIY non-profit skatepark. In 2004, myself and a handful of other Seattle skateboards wanted a place to skateboard undercover. We were inspired by other DIY skateparks such as Portland, Burnside. In the early days it was renegade. We would slowly get money from benefit shows, local skateboard shops, and in-kind donations to build. Designing was always a pleasure for posters, tee shirt graphics, skateboards, and other things for the project. The park is still going strong with numerous volunteers.
